Talent Acquisition Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recruiter with one to three years experience to join a rapidly growing global management consultancy based in Manchester city centre on a temporary basis. There is the potential for this role to go permanent for the right candidate. Candidates must be immediately available in order to be considered.

Duties include:

  • Liaising with line managers and internal teams in order to compile job specifications and define needs of current recruitment requirements
  • Prospecting candidates on LinkedIn and utilising various recruitment tools to find the best talent in the market
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining candidate database
  • Screening prospective candidates over the phone and deciding whether the candidate is the right fit for the company
  • Pitching the company to prospective candidates over the phone, LinkedIn and in person
  • Sending out assessments and interview confirmations via email
  • Booking telephone and face-to-face interview slots into hiring/line manager’s diaries
  • Responsible for managing all feedback from line managers
  • Following up with candidates after completion of assessments and interviews in order to deliver feedback
  • Taking ownership of the Graduate Academy and entry level roles and being responsible for sourcing suitable candidates for any roles within these departments
  • Attending careers fairs and conducting company presentations at University’s around the country in order to attract potential candidates for any graduate or entry level roles
  • Undertaking additional market mapping and research activities on an ad-hoc basis

Person Specification:

  • Educated to degree level with a minimum 2:1 grade
  • One to three year’s experience within the recruitment industry, internal or in-house recruitment experience preferable
  • Performance focused with strong work ethic and drive to succeed
  • Experience in managing the full recruitment cycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to use initiative and take ownership of the role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Good attention to detail
  • Passionate about recruitment

Hourly rate depending on experience. Salary up to £27,000 per annum depending on experience plus bons
